We hope you’ll take the Bait and Join Us for
Forsgren’s 6th Annual Fishing Derby!
Everyone is Welcome…
May 17th, 2025
9:00 a.m. – The derby officially begins!
2:30 p.m. – Check-in with your catch
3:00 p.m. – Winners announced!
We Provide:
- Bait, flies, & lures
- Lunch, snacks, & beverages (kid-friendly AND adult)
- Motorized fishing boats
- Fun prizes for kids and adults!
You’ll need:
Duck Valley Fishing Permit
Purchase a permit to fish on the reservation at one of these tribe approved locations.
Your fishing gear!
- Fishing rod and lines
- life jackets, waders, fins
- float tubes/boats (if you have them)
Meet us here!
Mountain View Reservoir at Duck Valley Indian Reservation
- Meet at the Forsgren camp (RV Site #18).
DIRECTIONS & CAMP LOCATION:
- Head east on I-84 from the Boise area
- Take exit 90
- Follow Old Highway 30 through Mountain Home
- Turn south onto Idaho State Highway 51 from Airbase Road.
- Total travel time from Boise is approximately 2 hr 10 mins
Fishing fun for the whole family... with hopefully some sunshine this year! 🙂
Overnight camping:
If you’re feeling adventurous, we also have a great time camping together! Join us Friday night, Saturday night, or both – we’ll provide delicious meals and great company both nights.
